It’s 2019. New Year New Resolutions right? Erm… if you’re anything like the TMHQ Ireland Team then no.

We’ve already failed at the healthy eating (Someone brought chocolate into the office) and the training (It’s raining and going back to work was hard enough). Plus, setting goals for the full year can be really daunting. That got us thinking. Why not do a 30-day fitness challenge… together!

We figured a nice small yet achievable challenge that we can all do together is the best way to start the new year.

How it Will Work

It’s simple: Make sure you spend 30 mins being active every day for 30 days.

This time can be spent however you like, walking, running, swimming or weight training.  Every time you complete a day post it on social media and use the hashtag #TM30days.

You can start whenever you want and do the 30 mins whenever you want. The more convenient it is the easier it will be to stick with it.

If you are not sure how to train, here is a 28-day guide. On the rest days, instead of doing a hardcore workout, go for a 30 mins walk? That way you’re working your muscles in a nice and easy manner and not missing a day in your #TM30days.

    Great article! The key to being healthy and active is to start small, be consistent and then increase the pace gradually. Spending 30 minutes a day for exercise is definitely not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. One can definitely devote 30 minutes a day to their body. Thanks for sharing this!
